When were patterns 35 cents? No clue. This one was $4 at a vintage pop-up, and since I have granddaughters who might wear size 6 for a while, I couldn’t resist the diversion. I must say, it’s a breathe of fresh air to use old patterns that don’t have to be scaled up, printed, and taped together from PDFs. A few yards of leftover Japanese fabric, some binding, and four mother of pearl buttons…Simplicity itself! Now, back to the writing and editing.
