Two Launches

Saturday September 21, 2024 I will get as close as I can to being in two places at once, without invoking quantum physics. At 2 p.m. the Hill Spirits Anthology, to which I have contributed a poem, will be launched at the Cobourg Library. Admission includes a copy of the book. At the same time is the opening reception for the Colborne Art Gallery’s Juried Show, which includes my assemblage, Prairie 1 : Unsettled. I hope to see you at the library at 2 and the art gallery at 3!

A Celebration!

The Art Gallery of Northumberland celebration was a welcome contrast to earlier in the week when I spent an afternoon in downtown Toronto where the foot traffic was sparse and the streets winter-ugly. The Juried Show’s and Brooke Johnson’s Show’s varied and imaginative artworks invite a second visit when it’s less crowded and more conducive to contemplation.
